Recently, the results of the 2024 "Second Collection of Innovative Practice Cases for Smart Construction of Transportation Enterprises" organized by the China Transportation Enterprise Management Association were announced. INNOVIEW's "Road AI Intelligent Inspection and Maintenance System" was selected as an innovative practice case for smart construction of transportation enterprises and won the honorary title of "Typical Case".
It is understood that this activity aims to earnestly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, implement the State Council's "14th Five-Year Plan for Digital Economy Development" and the "Three-Year Action Plan for 'Data Elements ×' (2024-2026)" issued by the National Data Administration and 17 other departments, deeply implement the "Outline of the Digital Transportation Development Plan" and the "14th Five-Year Plan for Digital Transportation Development" issued by the Ministry of Transport, implement the "Artificial Intelligence + Action," and build smart transportation enterprises. This will promote the deep integration of new technologies such as big data, the Internet, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and supercomputing with the transportation industry, advance data resources to empower transportation development, accelerate the integrated development of transportation infrastructure networks, transportation service networks, energy networks, and information networks, build ubiquitous and advanced transportation information infrastructure, construct a comprehensive transportation big data center system, deepen the development of transportation public services and e-government, actively promote the intelligent construction of transportation enterprises, and accelerate the cultivation and development of new quality productive forces.
The INNOVIEW Road AI Intelligent Inspection and Maintenance System comprises intelligent road inspection terminals, an intelligent data access platform, and a smart maintenance management platform. Utilizing deep learning AI and image analysis technologies, it employs high-definition industrial cameras for precise identification of road defects. Combining GNSS and inertial sensing technologies for location data, and leveraging 4G/5G networks to upload defect data in real time, it achieves real-time, digital, visual, interconnected, and intelligent pavement defect detection, maintenance, management, and services. The system employs a visual autonomous learning training algorithm, achieving industry-leading accuracy in pavement defect identification. It supports various road types, including highways, general roads, and rural roads, enabling timely and efficient defect detection, reducing daily inspection costs, and consequently lowering overall maintenance costs.
This selection as a "Second Annual Smart Construction Innovation Practice Case in Transportation Enterprises" will further promote INNOVIEW's deep integration of digital technology and the transportation industry, accelerate the digital transformation, intelligent upgrading, and integrated innovation of transportation infrastructure, and actively advance the intelligent construction of the transportation sector.
