Recently, the 2024 Inner Mongolia Highway Maintenance High-Quality Development Forum was successfully held in Hohhot. This forum, themed "High-Quality Development of Highway Maintenance," explored innovative development directions and new management approaches for highway maintenance technologies. Topics included new business models for the highway maintenance market, decision-making and planning for road network-level maintenance, expansion into overseas highway maintenance markets, digital maintenance technologies, new pavement maintenance technologies, new bridge maintenance technologies, new traffic engineering technologies, new solid waste recycling technologies, safety risk identification in maintenance operations, and new technologies for emergency maintenance disaster monitoring. The forum showcased the innovative technological achievements and practical applications of highway maintenance in recent years from leading transportation provinces such as Beijing, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Jiangxi, and shared the maintenance experiences of advanced highway maintenance units within the region.
