System Introduction

 

The Yiwei Overload Control Station's high-precision dynamic and static overload detection system employs high-precision weighing sensors, boasting superior performance, rich functionality, and compatibility with various weighing display instruments. After a suspected overloaded vehicle enters the dynamic and static detection weighing area, it passes sequentially through the vehicle's static weighing system under the guidance of the barrier gate installed on the precision weighing platform. The system detects the vehicle's total weight, number of axles, number of axle groups, and license plate number, uploading the detection information to the static detection computer as evidence for law enforcement, and for weighing and measuring bulk cargo.

High-Precision Truck Scale

This system primarily uses a high-precision truck scale as the weight acquisition device for trucks, and is equipped with wheel axle identifiers to identify and count the truck's wheel axles, thereby determining whether the vehicle is overloaded.


Accurate Identification of Overloaded Vehicles

The inspected vehicle (a suspected overloaded vehicle screened by the dynamic non-stop detection system) enters the overload station. The system captures a photo of the truck's front and performs license plate recognition. As the vehicle's wheel axles sequentially pass over the wheel axle identification sensors, the system counts the wheel axles. Once the vehicle is fully on the truck weighing platform, the system begins to collect the vehicle's total weight. The system compares the wheel axle count with the total vehicle weight to determine if the vehicle is overloaded. The detection results are displayed on a large LED screen and automatically uploaded to the monitoring center.

System Characteristics

 
1. For suspected overloaded vehicles detected by high-precision dynamic and static detection lanes, the system can automatically detect information such as the vehicle's total weight, number of axles, and license plate number.
 
2. The system accurately and effectively separates vehicles automatically and can handle complex and changing driving states such as vehicle queuing, reversing, S-shaped driving, and point braking, ensuring strict correspondence between vehicles and data.
 
3. The system has an automatic caching function, capable of storing a certain amount of data. When data transmission to the computer fails, it can resend the data, maintaining its uniqueness and integrity.
 
4. The system has a fault self-diagnosis function. When any equipment or line in the system malfunctions, the system can obtain the corresponding fault information, display it on the on-site display device, and transmit this fault information to the detection computer.
 
5. The license plate recognition image can clearly identify the vehicle type, license plate number, vehicle body color, and location.
 
6. It can automatically recognize license plates at the local or central end through vehicle license plate positioning (except for two-wheeled vehicles), character segmentation, character matching, and image preprocessing.
 
7. The license plate recognizer has an image storage function. It can provide the lane control system with complete license plate information (i.e., Chinese characters, English letters, numbers, and colors), a binary image of the license plate, and a vehicle image in real time. For both recognizable and unrecognizable license plate numbers, it can provide the acquired vehicle's JPEG format digital image, ensuring a strict correspondence between the recognition result and the vehicle.

Innoview's high-precision dynamic and static overload detection software can collect data on military vehicles passing through overload detection stations in real time, upload it to the overload detection station's server through a data interface, and calculate information such as axle load, number of axles, and total weight of the vehicles using sophisticated algorithms, providing road administration personnel with comprehensive law enforcement information.
